About At The Marketing Desk
At The Marketing Desk is a small business marketing resource created to make marketing feel clearer, easier and much less overwhelming.
If you run a small business, you already know how many hats you have to wear. One minute you are making the thing, doing the service, replying to customers or packing orders. The next, you are expected to be a marketer, designer, copywriter, content creator, website manager and social media person all at once.
It is a lot.
That is why At The Marketing Desk exists.
Here, you will find practical Desk Notes, design ideas, content tips, AI prompts, website guidance and useful resources to help you show up online with more clarity and confidence.
The aim is not to make marketing feel bigger or more complicated. It is to break things down into simple, useful steps you can actually understand and *actually* use.
Who runs At The Marketing Desk?
Hi, I’m Shai! A marketing business owner with experience across various marketing disciplines including: social media, websites, SEO blogs, paid ads, print design and content planning.
I fell into marketing after studying Psychology and quickly loved how it brought together strategy, creativity, design and understanding how people think.
After working my way up to Assistant Marketing Manager, completing my Chartered Institute of Marketing course and starting my own marketing business, I saw the same thing again and again: small business owners are overwhelmed.
At The Marketing Desk was created to cut through the noise with practical notes, useful ideas and small steps that make marketing feel clearer, calmer and much more doable! As often, you do not need more marketing, you just need marketing that works better.
thank you for being here!
